SLAP would like to announce the appointment of two new directors to the Board.

Brian Anderson and Colin Clark were the successful candidates from the Non-Executive Director recruitment drive that took place in 2017.  

SLAP are delighted to announce Michael Thomson has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

SLAP wish to thank Susan Groat for her 5 years as Chair, and are pleased she is continuing in her role as a Non-Executive Director.

Shetland Leasing and Property Developments Limited (SLAP) is seeking new Non-Executive Directors to join the Company Board due to rotational retirement.

SLAP’s main activities are to invest in and develop land and buildings, and to actively manage its leased property portfolio.  

SLAP is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Shetland Charitable Trust (SCT).

Non-Executive Directors are expected to attend four quarterly meetings a year, at the Company’s office in Lerwick.  The role requires approximately 10 days a year, being a mix of meetings, reading and email correspondence.  Appointments are for an initial three-year period.

The Company is seeking applications from individuals with expertise in any of the following areas, Finance, Property, Public Sector, Public Relations, Law and Management.
